Oncallz API Documentation

Maintained by the Oncallz team · Last updated:

The Oncallz REST API connects your tools to your team's on-call and incident response workflow. Use it to read schedules, see who is on call, review incidents and respond to alerts from your own application.

Authentication and requests

Authenticate with POST /api/login to obtain a bearer token. Send it in the Authorization: Bearer <token> header on authenticated requests. Access is scoped to your account and organization.

Request and response bodies use JSON. Resource IDs are UUIDv7 strings, and timestamps use ISO 8601 in UTC. Check the reference below for each endpoint's parameters, response examples and required authentication.

Explore the API

The interactive reference documents authentication, schedules, on-call lookup and incident response. The Try It panel sends real requests; actions such as acknowledging or resolving an incident change your organization's data.

Download the OpenAPI specification to import this API into your client or development tools. For monitoring alerts, start with the integration guides.
