This Privacy Policy explains how Oncallz ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Oncallz web application and mobile app (together, the "Service"). Oncallz is an on-call, incident response, escalation, and notification platform for engineering and operations teams.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and the organization (tenant) you belong to, used to create and secure your account.
- Phone number — if you choose to add one, used solely to deliver SMS and voice incident pages and to verify the number.
- Device push tokens — when you enable notifications, we store the push token issued by Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM) so we can deliver incident alerts to your device.
- Incident and operational data — incidents, comments, on-call schedules, and related activity created within your organization.
- Technical data — basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To deliver incident notifications by push, SMS, voice, and email.
- To authenticate you and keep your account and organization data secure and isolated per tenant.
- To provide on-call scheduling, incident triage, and reporting features.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Service providers
We share the minimum data necessary with infrastructure providers that help us deliver the Service:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — to deliver push notifications.
- Twilio — to deliver SMS and voice paging and to verify phone numbers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data retention
We retain account and incident data for as long as your organization maintains an active account, and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after an account is closed, unless retention is required by law.
Your choices
- You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- You can remove your phone number from your profile to stop SMS and voice pages.
- You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
