Delete Your Account and Data
Last updated: 2026-06-19
This page explains how to delete your Oncallz account and exactly what happens to your data. Oncallz is an on-call, incident response, escalation, and notification platform for engineering and operations teams.
How to delete your account
You can delete your own account at any time, without contacting us. Choose whichever applies to you:
In the Oncallz mobile app
- Open the Oncallz app and sign in.
- Go to the More tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
On the web (no app needed)
- Sign in at https://oncallz.com/login.
- Click your name in the top-right corner to open your profile.
- Scroll to Danger zone at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
If you can no longer sign in
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify ownership and complete the deletion for you.
Deleting only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to have data removed:
- Phone number — remove it yourself from your profile at any time. This also stops all SMS and voice pages.
- Push notifications — turning them off in your device settings stops us using your device token.
- Anything else — email [email protected] describing what you want removed. We will delete it, or tell you if we are required to keep it.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the following, immediately and irreversibly:
- Your account details — name, email address, and phone number.
- Device push tokens — the Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) tokens used to send you incident alerts.
- API tokens you had created.
- Team memberships, on-call schedule participation, and any on-call assignments.
- Sign-in history associated with your account.
If you were the last remaining member of your organization's workspace, the entire workspace and its data are deleted along with your account.
What is kept
Incidents, comments, and activity history created inside your organization's workspace remain with that organization, because they are the organization's operational record rather than personal data of one member. Your personal link to them is removed: entries you created become unattributed once your account is gone.
We may also retain records where retention is required by law.
Retention period
Deletion from our live systems happens immediately when you confirm — there is no waiting period and no soft-delete. Residual copies may persist in encrypted operational backups until those backups age out on their normal rotation, after which they are unrecoverable.
